In our kindergarten multiculturalism is important so we celebrate Hungarian and other festivals as well.
Through the year the celebrated festivals are the following:
September: the kindergarten's birthday party
Ocotober: Halloween
November: Thanksgiving
December: Santa Claus, Christmas
January: New Year
February: costume party (Carnival)
March: Hungarian National Holiday
April: Easter, Day of Earth
May: Mother's Day
June: School year closing party
The following holidays are optional, depending on the the children's and parents' wish:
Diwali, Márton's Day, Hanukkah, Chinese New Year, Purim, Saint Patrick's Day, Holi, Father's Day
